Meet the Team

Taylor Prellberg, RD, CD, CPT

Taylor has had a growing interest in nutrition since childhood. Taylor grew up with a severe nut allergy. Prior to learning about how food physically impacts and works within the body, Taylor made note of the social importance that food has.

Taylor specializes in working with children, adolescents, and adults recovering from eating disorders. Taylor works with clients to provide personalized meal plan, work on challenge foods, and help with the process of reintroducing physical activity. Taylor also believes in the importance of providing education to help client recognize disordered behaviors. Taylor's mission is to help people enjoy food and rediscover the joy of moving their body.

Taylor received her Bachelor of Science in Nutrition from Bradley University. Taylor completed her dietetic internship at Mount Mary University.

Outside of work Taylor enjoys spending time with her husband and dog, Oliver. Taylor also enjoys crafts and crocheting.

Abby Carncross MS, LPC

Hello! My name is Abby and I would love the opportunity to get to know you and see if I would be a good fit as your therapist!

Are you feeling like you are stuck, anxious, need a change, or doubting your self? Have you ever wanted someone non-judgmental to talk to? I know exactly what you're feeling: everyone has their opinions on decisions you make, just doing life is hard, constantly feeling on edge. All of these can be true AND let me see if I can help navigate some of that. Living in our society right now is really hard and I hope to collaborate with you to make living life a little easier.

I take a very person-centered approach to therapy. Each person has their own unique experience and story. While I do have background in several therapy techniques (CBT, DBT, solution focused, ERP, motivational interviewing) I prefer to use ALL of these and more to meet your presenting needs. I love feedback and working collaboratively with clients to ensure you are benefiting from therapy. I have worked as a therapist at a higher level of care for the past two years in outpatient therapy programs. Prior to working at a higher level of care I was a school counselor at a middle school for a few years. I have experience working with both adolescents and adults. My goal is to help you learn new tools to manage your symptoms and provide a safe space to share your story with me.

I believe that everyone deserves equal rights to quality mental health care. I also believe that all people should be treated equally regardless of: race, gender, socioeconomic status, sexual orientation, living situation, relationship dynamic, etc. I am a strong supporter of the LGBTQIA+ community. I have experienced my own fair share of anxiety and depression, with a sprinkle of trauma for good measure. I am a huge Wisconsin sports fan and enjoy watching basketball. I feel that Caitlin Clark is the best women's basketball player of all time, however I will not judge you if you are not aware of that obvious fact. I love to run and ran a couple of marathons, now running 2 miles is HARD. I would love the opportunity to see if I could be a good addition to your support system, please send me a message for a free 15 minute consultation!
